This course is aimed to cover photographing portraits in natural light, constant light. and studio lighting

Those attending the course will have a basic knowledge of photography and have an understanding of aperture, shutter speeds and exposure.

What is included?

  • You will receive over 8 hours worth of training and practical experience through the day, working a professional full-time model 
  • The use of a high-end professional photography studio
  • Lunch, tea, coffee and snacks provided, after course support through the facebook group page.
  • Watch and learn as I edit the photos in Lightroom, Photoshop and Exposure  x4.
  • You will come away with a camera full of great images.
  • You will be able to have one of the images of your choice taken on the two-day course professionally edited by a high-end retoucher coupon and details provided on the day.
  • You will leave this course with the skills to develop and improve your portrait photography techniques.

Equipment & Location

There will be light modifiers and lighting that can be used with your cameras for Nikon and Canon and Sony, and all other brands

During the day you will be photographing the models, and getting feedback on your photos as well as being taught portrait photography techniques.

We will be shooting at the large 303 photography Studio in Manchester, where you will have the use of professional lighting along with the Elinchrom mobile off-camera flash system which is compatible with all cameras.

You will have access to the professional Elinchrom ELB 400 lighting system with Beauty dish and grid, Elinchrom Deep Octa soft box various reflectors and the Lupolux constant Dayled 650 fresnel light.

The Course is simple & effective

The course will give you valuable insight into portrait and model photography.

Photography is all about building a relationship with your subject understanding your environment, working with light and composition.

From the camera to the computer, I will be showing how I edit my images by using Lightroom, Photoshop and exposure 4. From object removal to skin healing and curve adjustment layers adjusting the light and shadows to give you a perfect image.

So the next time you photograph a model, friend or corporate representative, you will be ready with your new found knowledge and experience.
