Session 1:
Your first session will be a one hour consultation, on what you wish to achieve, your goals, your interests and to assess your skills and knowledge.
Session 2:
A practical one hour session either in the studio or out in the field, this will be an introduction to your camera, the settings when to use different modes and lenses and just getting a better understanding of your camera altogether.
Session 3:
Next you will be introduced to the studio and model photography for a three hours session that will cover
- How to communicate with your model
- How to pose your model
- Shooting angles
- Using a single light source
Session 4:
Today we will be outdoors for our three hour session and this will cover using natural light to photograph a subject/model
- Understanding the light.
- Natural light and shadows
- A reflector is your friend
- Using a scrim jim
Session 5
Lightroom and photoshop, this is a 1 hour session that will cover editing your photos in Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop,
- Importing
- Catalogues
- Exporting
- Colour profiles using the exrite colour checker
- Creating presents
- Setting up photoshop colour space
Session 6:
The use of flash, this is a two hours studio session where you will be using off-camera flash to create compose and understand lighting a model in a studio setting.
- Single flash portraits
- Clamshell portrait lighting two lights
- Using three lights & separating your subject
- Using four lights adding rim/hair light
Session 7:
This is a second one hour practical session where we will sit down and start editing some of your photos from the past few sessions and reviewing your style of editing.
